A fine scarce die stamped brass example worn circa 1874-1881. A strap inscribed "First Somerset" surmounted by an Victoian crown. To the voided centre, The Cap & Maintenance of the Duke of Monmouth, "Defendenus" scroll below. Two brass loops to the reverse. VGC. KK 1189.
