A fine and scarce die stamped lightly silver plated example of the Argyll & Sutherland Highlanders pattern bearing Elephant and Howdah surmounted by a scroll inscribed "Fortitudo et Fedelitas" set within a circlet inscribed "Dumbartonshire Volunteers". Two silvered loops to the reverse. VGC.
