A fine scarce die-stamped white metal crowned oval strap QUEEN OWN ROYAL REGIMENT resting within a slim shamrock sprays; centrally the three flaming castles of Dublin Arms. Two brass loops North & South to the reverse . VGC. KK 1278
Raised in 1793, redesignated Royal Dublin City Militia in 1815 later adding the title Queen Own became 4th Bn Royal Dublin Fusiliers on Friday 1st July, 1881.
