Bloomsbury Rifles Officer's cap badge circa 1905-08 .

A good scarce die-stamped umarked silver / plated example. Within a laurel wreath surmounted by a Crown resting on a scroll 'Bloomsbury Rifles', a Maltese cross with balls to the tips and lions between the arms. To the centre, within a circlet inscribed 'Rifle Brigade', a Crowned strung bugle; the wreath is adorned with 'South Africa 1900-1902' honours and bears a scroll across the base 'The Prince Consort's Own'.
