A fine scarce darkened, with burnished highlights, die-stamped laurel sprays surmounted by Guelphic crowned blank tablet; within, a Maltese cross lacking battle honours with lions between the arms and balls to the tips. To the centre, a circlet inscribed 'RIFLE BRIGADE' a crowned strung bugle. THE PRINCE CONSORT'S OWN scroll to the base. Three loops to the reverse. Period strengthening repair to corner of top arm.
