1st The Royal Regiment of Foot Victorian Officers cap badge

A fine super scarce post 1871 die stamped silver and gilt three part construction example. Gilt backing star with silvered Saltire; Gilt part voided centre with St. Andrew and title scroll inscribed 'The Royal Scots'. Two loops to the reverse. Missing enamel ground other wise VGC.
