A fine gilt example worn circa 1881-1901. Crowned star mounted with laurel wreath and Garter, the black velvet centre bearing silver "Quo Fas Et Gloria Ducunt" scroll over White Horse of Kent on 'INVICTA' motto. Mounted on the base of the wreath, a silver tri-part scroll inscribed 'The Royal West Kent Regiment'. Three loops to reverse. Slight verdigris and general service wear otherwise VGC
