2nd County of London Imperial Yeomanry (Westminster Dragoons) helmet plate

A good scarcedie stamped brass Garter Star mounted with white metal crowned oval Garter strap, bi part scroll below inscribed '2nd County of London', brass '2' to centre with brass 'IY' below. Three screw posts to the reverse. General service wear GC.
Raised as 2nd County of London Imperial Yeomanry in 1901, granted additional title Westminster Dragoons in 1903.
