Victorian Militia Battalions General Service Shako Plate

A good scarce die stamped white metal shako plate worn by Militia Battalions who did not have plates of their own specific design. Crowned eight pointed star with Garter Strap and Royal Crest to the centre. Two toned loops to the reverse. Dark toned to front otherwise VGC.
