Middlesex Regiment Victorian Officer's Foreign Service helmet plate

A fine scarce die stamped fire gilt with silver overlay example worn circa 1881-1901. Crowned cirlet inscribed 'Middlesex The Duke of Cambridge's Own' with 'Albuhera' scroll below. To the centre the Prince of Wales's plumes and coronet. All within a wreath of laurel. Three loops to the reverse. VGC.
