18th Hussars Victorian Officer's pagri / cap badge

A fine scarce pre 1901 die cast unmarked silver example probably for foreign service. Crowned strap inscribed ' Pro Rege Pro Lege pro Patria Conamur' with XVIII above 'Hussars'.All surrounded by a laurel wreath with 'Peninsula' and 'Waterloo' battle honours. Pagri pin to the reverse. Repair to 'C' clasp otherwise VGC.
