A fine scarce post 1901 die stamped silver example marked Sterling. King's Crown resting on tablet inscribed 'Waterloo' within a laurel wreath inscribed with 16 battle honours ; a scroll inscribed 'The Prince Consort's Own' to the base. To the centre a maltese cross with circlet inscribed 'Rifle Brigade' and crowned strung bugle. Four screw posts and Sterling silver backing plate to the reverse. Makers stamp to both J.R.G.&S. (J.R.Gaunt & Sons) VGC.
