Scottish 1st Royal Regiment of Foot Victorian Officer's waist belt clasp

A fine and scarce gilt example circa 1859-71. Silver circlet inscribed 'The Royal Regiment' ; seeded centre mounted with silver St. Andrew and cross. Universal pattern rococo ends. Gilt worn , highpoints of centre polished and one tip of cross missing.
